Ding Zuyi Education Foundation of our university held the launching ceremony of "Environmental Prote

  On the afternoon of May 4, the launching ceremony of "Environmental Protection Blooming in the West" environmental protection station, sponsored by Ding Zuyi Education Foundation and co-sponsored by the Greek Wing Environmental Protection Team, was held in the conference room on the second floor of the Science and Technology Building. The Deputy Secretary of the Party committee, the chairman of the trade union and Wang Xiaohui, chairman of the Ding Zuyi Foundation, attended the meeting, and some volunteer representatives attended.
  At the meeting, the host showed the participants the main problems of environmental pollution in the form of PPT. Kou Ruofei, the first stationmaster of the environmental protection station, told us about the current environmental pollution situation and the significance of environmental protection.
Wang Xiaohui, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, chairman of the trade union and President of the Ding Zuyi Foundation, said in his speech that the school supports the purpose and idea of establishing the Western Translation Environmental Protection Station and advocates that all of us take an active part in public welfare activities, thus bringing a good start for the school's environmental protection activities. Wang Xiaohui hopes that students will bear in mind the responsibility and obligation of every college student to protect the environment. He calls on students to take active action to save resources and protect the environment by reducing the use of plastic bags and disposable lunch boxes.
  During this period, the leaders of our school issued letters of appointment for the staff of environmental protection stations and conducted a ribbon cutting ceremony. It is reported that the environmental protection station set up by Ding Zuyi Education Foundation in our school is the first campus environmental protection station in Northwest China. The purpose is to inherit and carry forward the spirit of environmental protection put forward by President Ding, and to respond to the active participation of teachers and students in the ring. The urgent need for protection activities, starting from practical action, to contribute to the protection of the campus environment.
